PDF Scanner Terms of Use

Last updated: 26 September 2026

Agreement

These supplemental terms apply to PDF Scanner together with Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Apple's EULA controls where the two conflict.

Your content

You are responsible for the documents you scan, import and share, and for having the right to use them. The app does not check or store your content anywhere but your device.

Subscriptions

Premium is offered as weekly and yearly auto-renewable subscriptions. The App Store shows the price, billing period and any trial before you confirm. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. A subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings and restore purchases in the app's Settings.

Passwords and compression

A password you set cannot be recovered. Compression saves pages as images, so text in a compressed PDF can no longer be selected or searched. Keep an original copy when this matters.

Liability

The app is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for lost documents or data. Keep backups of important files.
