These supplemental terms apply to Tree Identifier together with Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Where the two conflict, Apple's EULA controls. The app is provided by Pavle Pejić, Novi Sad, Serbia.
Tree Identifier uses automated analysis to suggest the likely species of a tree from a photograph of its bark, leaf, needles or overall form, together with related information. Results can be incomplete, uncertain or wrong. The app is not a certification, not a botanical authority, and not a substitute for a qualified arborist or botanist.
Safety. Never eat, brew, apply or otherwise use any part of a plant on the basis of an identification from this app. The app makes no claim about edibility, medicinal properties, toxicity or safety of any species. Misidentification of plants can be dangerous or fatal. When it matters, ask a qualified expert.
Every result is presented with a confidence level. A high confidence is a strong suggestion, not a guarantee. Where two species are plausible, the app shows both. Do not rely on a result as the sole basis for a felling, planting, purchase, insurance, legal or professional decision.
The first three identifications are free. Unlimited access is offered through auto-renewable weekly and yearly subscriptions. Before you confirm, the App Store purchase screen shows the price, the billing period, and whether a free trial applies to your account.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. A subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings, or from Settings → Manage Subscription in the app. Where a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you buy a subscription. Trials, billing, renewal, cancellation, refunds and eligibility are administered by Apple, not by us.
Submit only images you have the right to use. A selected image is sent through our backend to our AI provider solely to return the requested analysis, as described in the Privacy Policy. Do not misuse the service, attempt to bypass rate limits, reverse engineer the app, or submit unlawful material.
The service is provided on an as-available basis and may be unavailable when network, backend, App Store or AI-provider services fail. We may change or discontinue features.
To the extent permitted by law, the developer disclaims warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded, and is not liable for decisions taken or losses suffered on the basis of an identification. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
